Tom is a relative newcomer to southern California and Master Gardeners. He and his wife Nancy are originally from NE Pennsylvania where they were avid organic gardeners and composters for over 15 years. They exchanged their home in the hills for the full-time RVers lifestyle which took them to Mexico, Central America and the desert Southwest. Since arriving in western Riverside County in 2008, Tom has enjoyed pursuing all-year vegetable gardening, backyard orchard basics, landscape fundamentals, native plants, composting and vermiculture.
